Black Sluice Pumping Station Lock Gates

Crowland Cranes transported these lock gates to Black Sluice Pumping Station, Boston. They were sculpted to depict manual digging out of the fens drainage system. The placing of these gates was undertaken by their Contract Lifting Division using one of their GMK3050 cranes, thus enabling viewing from the visitors centre and all river traffic.
