Crowland Cranes was recently commissioned by a local fabricating company to assist with the installation of a lift shaft and stairs for disabled access within the castle. The lift was undertaken by Crowland Cranes Contract Lifting division using their 220t Faun crane. Although the whole operation was made more difficult with limited access and a restricted timescale the lift was completed successfully and on schedule.
