Trinity College “Great Gate” removed for repair

Crowland Cranes were recently contracted to complete the delicate operation of removing the entrance gates to one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious colleges, Henry VIII Trinity College in Cambridge. The “Great Gate” built in 1530 as part of King’s Hall and the largest of all the college gates were removed under our Contract Lifting service. The lift went to plan with the iconic 481 year old gates being removed successfully and transported for refurbishment.
